Less Known Female Designers Who Are Killing It In Fashion Right Now

In the world of fashion, there is always space for new uprising designers. Some of them reach for the top successfully and become internationally well known brands, but there are also the ones that lack of some engagement. But the lack of publicity attention does not in any way mean that designer’s work is somehow less desirable. Here we have some bad ass female designers who’s names are not major known, but their works are killing fashion industry at the moment.

BEVZA

Behind the brand name of BEVZA stands ukrainian designer Svetlana Bevza. She successfully uses her talent and shows to speak out about serious issues. Last season’s New York Fashion Week was the very first one for Svetlana , so she made sure to debut her work with a serious message - talking about the war torn Ukraine.

NANUSHKA

Sandra Sandor is the woman standing behind this sustainably-minded brand. This year’s Fall 2018 New York Fashion Week was the first opportunity for Sandra to show her collection for such a mass of people. Reminding everyone of the importance of sustainability, Sandra presented her minimal, fabric and detail oriented collection.

REJINA PYO

Last season’s London Fashion Week was also the very first for this designer to show her what she has got. And let me tell you, people were not disappointed. Very straight, strict silhouettes and earthy tones combined with a mixture of flowy and heavy materials is what Rejina stands out for. She also presented her fall collection this LFW season prolonging the same main creative traits.

MARTA JAKUBOWSKI

Marta launched her label only in 2015, but has reached a lot since then. Her never ending improvising with color scheme and patterns is kind of a business card of this designer. Her recent collection on this season’s London Fashion Week is what 90’s dreams were made of - executive tailoring and tastefully oversized pieces.
